Each Saturday*, free public entry to this unique and beautiful Grade I Listed cast iron ch urch. Built in 1815, St Michael's and the 'Hamlet' of houses around it went even further than St George's Everton in replacing traditional materials and building techniques with a revolutionary new approach, securing Liverpool's unique place in architectural history. Despite its internationally important place in history it continues to provide a vibrant local centre for community life and an accessible sacred space for personal reflection and worship . We would love you to come and learn more about this historic and beautiful hidden gem of Liverpool. Volunteers and leaflets are available to enhance your visit. Group bookings:No need to book on Saturdays but for large group and/or other days, bookings can be made via Church wardens, Brian or Karen 07776 237903) Parking:Limited car p rking along the side of the church but a Car park is located a few minutes walk on St Michael's Road. Public transport:The church is a few minutes walk from Aigburth road (82 bus route) and the nearest station is St Michaels. Entrance is free:
